Executions of wall treatments have always been my favorite Visual display. Coming off the West Elm opening in Albany, NY, Cate Bennett had asked to riff off the wall treatments created for still life set backdrops for Jane Iredale.

Working within the same medium as the summer parasols, whimsical origami pieces was the concept for Holiday. Glitter dust and borax crystals encrusts in the folds of select pieces and glitter was used more liberally. Deliberate strokes and more obvious blending was layered 3 jewel toned set boards on theme for their Holiday campaign. I had envisioned en masse papercraft as contexturalizers to bring focus to the product. A lot happens however on set and the boards shot well.

I created snow and ice texture forming borax crystals which may have inspired the kosher salt which looks like was used in the final shots.

Multiple lotus, butterflies and simple flowers were crafted for ease of time on set.
