Hired initially for a 2 week store opening gig as a break from working on my business plan, I found myself with my prior background working on wall treatments and displays that almost made me feel I was back at Anthropologie again. The hanging mobile of metal screening (typically used to hide radiators) was my low tech, low budget solution to make gears of a clock to work with a Venetian concept. The glitter and patina washed walls (which is actually my typical “hand” in painting techniques) led to an assignment with Jane Iredale for product set designs several months later.
You never can tell where life takes you. From a 2 week gig to a complete relocation, I look back at this time very fondly.
